God’s wisdom is the highest end and the best means toward glorifying God. We discuss this beautiful topic in this episode of Relentless Truth.

All wisdom is in Jesus Christ. There are many definitions of wisdom. We know that knowledge is necessary for wisdom to be gained, and wisdom is the relationship between the truths gained through knowledge. Skill in discerning the relationship between the tenets of truth is one of the definitions of wisdom. Even wisdom is multi-faceted. God imparts wisdom.

God’s Wisdom

God is all wise. He is perfectly full of wisdom. He is not lacking wisdom in any respect. He has no capacity for any additional wisdom because His wisdom is infinite and perfect.

If God were not wise, we would be left with a God who misuses His other attributes. Wisdom is present on every page of Scripture, and this word is used over 200 times throughout the Bible.

Wisdom is not some sort of effort on our part to figure out God’s methods. Wisdom is the discernment, judgement, and critical thinking that we gain from the careful study of Scripture. There is a certain coming under or subjecting ourselves to the truth of Scripture that is necessary as we humbly grow in wisdom.
